There is something a little weird about the Worcester show in that the venue does not even list a show taking place on August 1st and a little google work would suggest that Ra is opening for a band called Prevelance but further google work would then suggest that they are playing with a band called Leaving Eden and are also mentioned on that bands website. Even more strange is the telephone number for this venue does not work. In any event I will be at this show and the one in Hartford the night before.

I'm new to Ra and was introduced to them by my son who has met Ben thanks to a mutual friend. So, I'm in my fifties and love hard rock. My favorite band is Dream Theater but Ra really has my attention simply because it's powerful yet different. I do recall hearing "Do You Call My Name" on WAAF back in early 2002 but until recently I had no idea who these guys were. Can't wait to see them....

Really though, DT is also my favorite band, with Ra ranking a solid second. What an incredible band Dream Theater is, and how broadly-reaching! I'm glad there's another fan on the board!

Hey we all need new friends right....! I think you will find that many (if not most) DT fans are musicians themselves, I too fall into that category. I'm a bass player and Berklee College of Music graduate, but could never see fit to make a living with music. Three of the DT band members attended Berklee but only for a very short time at which point they all dropped out and formed what would become DT years later. It totally blows me away that these guys are some of the best rock musicians on the planet but yet most people have no idea who they are.

So the weekend of July31st - August 2nd is going to be awesome. First it's Ra in Hartford on Friday night then another Ra show in Worcester Saturday all capped off with a Dream Theater show in Boston Sunday - Woo Hoo

Nice, I knew he was a Berkley grad, but had no clue he liked DT! That's really cool.

Rich, you are gonna have one hell of a weekend...I can't even describe how jealous I am of you. Seeing Dream Theater live was one of the best experiences of my life, without a doubt, and BC&SL is an amazing record...I'd love to see them this tour. And I'd give anything to see Ra live, I've missed them every time they come through for one reason or another...have a fantastic time!
