I've been gigging with a crate 2x12, 120 watt solid state amp. I don't care for the tone, it's a little harsh.

Does anyone have any input or suggestions? I'm thinking a Peavey Valveking may be a good solution...

That would show great results I'm sure. What kinda stuff are you playing bro? Because sometimes the answer can be anything from marshall to crank depending on the style.

Agree with KC on the criteria. Need to know what you like and what you want before I can really make a useful suggestion. My preference for sure though is tubes over solid state.

The last two gig went well. I've been talking to Ben about what he uses for settings. We have the same processor (BossGt8) so he help out with different settings.
