So guys...what's the plan for promoting Black sheep?...I've been trying to pick up details here...from what I understand it's only available through like Amazon and ITunes...right?...and it's like 10 bux...I went and bought an Mp3 player for this last night...lol...
I thought I saw some where to post what we had been doing lately to get Ra some more air time....but I was also reading through the whole site...and now I can't find it...so here's what's up in Toledo Oh...
I've been playing my Ra Cd's at work...and some times at work I drive people places and have it playing in the back ground. Now I wasn't sure how this was going to work out as I work at rather larger and...conservative company...so I aimed for the interns...lol...score there...but then they are all my age range...being 21 to 28...I was slightly more surprised to find that the most impact was acutely being had on my "background music" promotions with the 28 to 40 crowd...several of who have now bought at least one Cd and are now rocking out on the way into work...one of the women even took the time to find me and tell me her daughter at 16 and her boyfriend have now played it for their friends...
I took some time now to also look up local radio stations that should be able to play Ra for us without much hesitation. On the chance that anyone on here is close to where I am and gets these stations here is my list so you can feel free to call in too...
WVKS 92.5 kiss fm 419-240-1547 (most listened to station in toledo to my knowledge.)
WIOT 104.7 419-244-8321 (home of Bob and Tom) rock
WRWK 106.5 419-725-5700 rock/alternative
WXKR 94.5 419-725-5700 Rock
WBGU 88.1 (419) 372-8810 (Local) 1-888-7-WBGUFM (National) Bowling Green University Campus Radio
WXUT 88.3 Office Phone 419-530-4172 Studio Phone 419-530-4455 Fax 419-530-2210 University of Toledo Campus Radio
Keep campus radio in mind when you are requesting as students are likely a target audience for the band...
