It just stresses me out that this band didn't make it. The songs where awesome, the talent was there and the live show was outstanding....

There simply has to be a reason. Something, or someone held this band back. No question.

I'm here! Honestly, there's not much to say right now. All we can do is wait for Ra's massive tour, but nothing else is happening really. Live shows are the bread of bands, and if they don't get some touring going, I'm pretty sure Ra is dooooomed. Will wait it out until something happens. Btw Ben, nice cameo.

Yeah man, looking forward to seeing you man. It's been ages. I'm probably taking the next day (friday) off, so we can hang a bit after I get off stage. It's going to be a crazy night!

To go back to what Satch said originally..... I agree, how can a band like RA not be as big as some of the bands they have shared a stage with is a complete and utter mystery to me, im not a musician or have any insight into the industry (an extreme armature drummer & music freak) but do know what constitutes a good band....... and they have it in spades! and to see other no talent "bands" get big only because they have "mass appeal" just pisses me off, well IMHO the masses wouldn’t know good music if it punched them in the face! Just a thought but maybe this might shed some light on the subject, It's very obvious that most that come here are huge fans of RA so most really know their music and their history and so on, but what i take from Supernova is that its a farwell song, but the part where he says that he never played the game, suggests to me that the band as awhole didnt play the BS industry game and that held them back, unfortunatly thats how crap works with how we all earn a living regardless how one does it, personaly I applaude the attitude of standing by ones convictions and say "NO! i'm not going to go along to get along", the world has to many sheep already, i'm guessing thats the whole thing behind the album title "Black Sheep". just a thought, thats kinda what i get from the lyrics, I could be completly 100% wrong on that, it happens from time to time.

I was thinking about the Supernova lyrics too. To me, the song is mainly saying that the band will either continue, or will burn. I'm optimistic though, since these lyrics...

"It always happens right before it's over
You light the sky up like a supernova"

... tell me that it might look like it's over, but Ra will return stronger than ever! I see where you're coming from though.
